JH’s and Kathy’s CM/answerphone spoke to each other!  Kathy phoned - whilst JH was out - to find out what happened at THE appointment; JH left a long message back; over WE sometime Kathy left a message to say that she had ‘lost’ the end of JH’s message as the tape had run out in her answerphone.


 

2006 - April 17th - Monday

JH and Kathy spoke to each other!  JH told Kathy that the latter had not really missed any vital bit of JH’s recorded message; a complete explanation about what happened at THE appointment was given by JH.


 
2006 - April 26th - Wednesday

There was a mention on National News that non-related live kidney donations were to be ‘promoted’ – this will undoubtedly increase the number of kidneys available for donation.

2006 - April 28th - Friday

Kathy rang JH: Kathy and Ralph off to Cyprus on Sunday 30 April 2006
JH had mentioned to Richard M that she realised that Kathy would be shortly off to Cyprus and that it would have been a happy circumstance if JH had heard from Dr Denton about JH’s Kidney Function Tests results, and when JH would be further investigated.  But JH realised that sometimes it takes 2-3/52 for Results to return to the Clinician, and also Dr Denton was going to ring Dr Moro Azuela to find out as to where and when JH was to have said investigations.

All the above was mentioned between JH and Kathy during the latter’s phone call.  Kathy asked JH if the latter was losing weight; JH pointed out that she only gets on the scales infrequently (actually every week) and was, in any event, less than at Dr Denton’s Clinic because JH was naked on her own scales!  Kathy has, apparently, told all and sundry that JH has been ‘passed’ as a potential donor and just has to lose 2 stone in weight {JH thinks she  might but it will be more difficult than when she was younger}.

As phone calls from mobiles, or some such, are very expensive to/from Cyprus, Kathy is taking an old phone with her and getting a SIM-card when she gets to Cyprus – she will then phone members of her family just to keep them in touch and not have long chats.  JH was given the address of the Skinners’ Apartment in Cyprus:  JH said she would write surface Air Mail (so to speak) to the Skinners should anything of import crop up.
