2006 - December 5th - Tuesday

JH phoned Sara in the morning but there was no reply; JH spoke to Mary Andrews and told her about Kathy, yet again, urging JH to extract communications from Derriford with the RLH.  In any event, JH and Mary realised that Kathy was bound to keep on and on at 'whoever' could prevent delays in us both reaching the operating table - there had been so many hiccoughs in communications!  [And JH subsequently thought that, should the situation be the other way round and JH was anticipating being the recipient of a kidney, no doubt JH would feel desperately miserable - about all this delay - herself.]  {Mary and JH also finalised arrangements to meet at the Museum on Friday 8th.}  - Friends of Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery (FPCMAG)


 

2006 - December 8th - Friday

JH received a CM message from Kathy giving me her and Ralph’s email address!  (JH was busily chatting to Sally Thomas, ‘musical’ friend, when Kathy phoned; also this was the first Friday that JH had had free, having dropped one WRVS shift.)  JH recollected that Kathy said she planned to ‘get connected’ at her Health Club; JH made a note of Kathy and Ralph’s email Address.  JH immediately sent an email saying she was sorry that she had been chattering on the phone when Kathy had just rung; and also telling the Skinners that, having taken the ‘advice’ of Mary, that JH could not realistically expect Dr Denton to be sending off any correspondence to the RLH before Christmas.

2006 - December 12th - Tuesday

Kathy sent email Reply to JH!  Kathy mentioned that Ralph is taking his tablets under her supervision, and that she felt better now that she and Ralph had booked a break.

2006 - December 13th - Wednesday

JH rang Renal Unit and spoke to Peter; Sara was expected to be around at some point but, when JH rang (from WRVS Tea Bar) in the afternoon, Sara had just disappeared to the Ward!
