JH went to Renal Unit and spoke to Margaret, Lyn’s Colleague as both Lyn was away on A/L day and Sara Stacey was at a Conference.  I asked Margaret if she could just ask Sara what the ‘state of play’ was with regards to Dr Denton receiving JH’s kidney function tests’ results; JH said that she wished to send an airmail letter to Kathy who was already in Cyprus.

2006 - May 4th - Thursday

JH phoned Lyn Headon to ask if she could locate the specific Secretary for Dr Denton; JH explained that she had bumped into her colleague, Margaret, yesterday and asked her to ask Sara if the clinic letter had been typed, if not, could Sara search out the information so that JH could let Kathy know in Cyprus.


 
2006 - May 5th - Friday

JH received copy letter from Dr Denton to Dr Moro-Azuela (dated 24 April 2006) in which was recorded that JH’s kidney function blood results were normal; he stated that . . . ‘we need to see significant weight loss prior to consideration . . .’ and, ‘. . . she said she will be able to do this . . .’!

Dr Hill was copied in with the letter so JH rang her GP’s surgery and was told that she is now Registered with Dr S Hateley; Dr Nicola Bailey was not on the hospital computer because she was not a Partner at the Surgery, and she is leaving very shortly – as her husband is a Vicar and has been posted to a new living.  Furthermore, JH was reminded that Dr Hill retired in June 2005!

2006 - May 7th - Sunday

JH posted a copy of letter from Dr Denton to Kathy together with a covering note explaining that JH would let Dr Moro-Azuela’s Secretary know that JH’s GP had changed.
