2007 - February 26th - Monday

JH received reply from Ray saying that he had had a verbal report saying that there had been ‘no reaction’ between K’s and J’s blood specs!

2007 - February 28th - Wednesday

JH unable to contact Sara on phone, whilst doing her WRVS Shift; but she was told by a lady who answered the phone that she knew that Sara was busy that afternoon and, furthermore, that Sara was going to Oxford for a Course for 2 days; JH did go to the Renal Unit briefly but Sara did not return by the time JH decided to leave.

2007 - March 2nd - Friday

Kathy phoned JH from her mobile, whilst in the car: Kathy and Ralph were just returning from a Session in Cambridge where they were learning about selling things on the Web!  However, Kathy’s main worry was that Ray had told her that he had NOT heard from Derriford about JH having another angiogram; JH explained that she had, of course, been in contact with Sara Stacey by email and phone, but would – yet again - persevere.  Kathy also mentioned that K and J would still be expected to go to the RLH for interview with the Independent Panel person from the HTA – which JH already realised.

JH sent and email to Kathy and copied in Sara: JH explained that she had tried to speak with Sara on the phone and email her; JH thought she might email Dorothy Bennett, Mr Chawdhery’s PA - whose name was on the top of JH’s appointment Letter - to ask what might become of any letters sent to Derriford – after K’s and J’s visit to the London Hosp on February 8th - in view of Dr Thuraisingham’s letter going astray previously.  Noted on 2 March 2007: FAMILY TREE NOT YET SENT TO THE RLH

Sara replied to JH’s email about 20 minutes after dispatch!  Sara said that the Clinicians were reluctant to perform a formal (JH’s word) angiogram on JH as this procedure was invasive – dye having to be injected into a an artery in the groin, and JH would receive more radiation; Sara had emailed Ray with this information but anticipated a formal letter also being sent.
