2007 - January 8th - Monday

Kathy rang JH and told JH that she had ordered a jigsaw mat by mail order which would be sent direct to JH in 10 to 14 days; the mat was big enough to hold a 1,000-piece jigsaw!

JH emailed Sara to thank the latter for being in touch with Terri at Southend, and for a general chat about JH’s shoes weighing 3lb, etc, etc!

2007 - January 9th - Tuesday

JH received reply from Sara: she had had a message from Ray Trevitt, Transplant Co-ordinator at the RLH, saying that things should be moving along.

JH told Rebecca Tregellas, WRVS Rota Organiser, about JH’s proposed donation: Becky said that that was wonderful; she said she would keep my shift (only one a week as from next week) available for 3/12 - by putting someone in A&E for that period - or just re-allocate JH afterwards.

2007 - January 11th - Thursday

JH received two CM phone messages from Kathy: Kathy said in the first call that I would be expected to go up to the RLH for us both to have some bloods taken, probably on 8th February; however, Kathy phoned again and said forget that date – Ray has NOT been able to arrange our appointment for that day.

2007 - January 12th - Friday

JH received her present from Kathy, a Portapuzzle jigsaw case, sent from a company directly  JH is delighted with jigsaw case and realises that she must do some more jigsaws to make use of her new case!  Also JH had told Kathy that JH would order a jigsaw map of the Skinner’s home for next Christmas – but there is no time like the present to order one now, and perhaps a map of the Battlesbridge area, ie, JH’s father’s childhood home, would be a challenge!  Kathy rang up later on to confirm that JH had received the case, so that Kathy could, then, settle the invoice.  JH had already dropped a thank-you card in the post to Kathy [enclosing the invoice received by JH although addressed to Kathy,].  Kathy is still very concerned about Ralph who is always tired, and has ‘a big tummy on him’; Kathy said that she knew of a friend who had a large tummy who had finally been diagnosed as having a tumour; Kathy is going to make an appointment for Ralph to see her old GP.
