2007 - May 5th - Saturday

JH phoned Sharon Lambert, her ‘second Attorney’, to tell her that she was second on the List of JH’s Next of Kin in JH’s RLH’s Notes.  JH just caught Sharon as she was rushing out, so the conversation was brief: JH just explained that, as she had collapsed in a heap, that it was not very practical having Curtis Solicitors down as Next of Kin, therefore, JH had asked Staff Nurse to write Su Watson’s name down at the top of the N of K list – because JH sees Su more frequently than Sharon - and then write down Sharon as being second on the list WITH THE FULL UNDERSTANDING THAT MY ATTORNEYS WOULD BE CONTACTABLE ANY TIME, DAY OR NIGHT.  Sharon stated that she had not known that JH was off to the RLH for an angiogram, but that she and Su had discussed their ‘responsibilities’ with regards to them being JH’s two Attorney’s in respect of JH’s ‘Living Will’.  Late in the evening, JH phoned Su Watson, her ‘first Attorney’, to tell her that she was the first on the List of JH’s Next of Kin.  JH received a photocopy of Ann’s German Identity Card: JH purchased a senior citizen’s travel card, and tickets for Ann’s incoming journey to England on 14th May; subsequently JH posted the SCTC, and London travel card to Ann via Airsure.


 

2007 - May 6th - Sunday

JH phoned Kathy to tell her the ‘Saga’, and also replied to Kathy’s email which Kathy sent to JH (040506) to welcome her home.  JH just caught Kathy before she went off to her sister, Margaret’s, birthday party - which Kathy had arranged to take place at the Huntsman and Hounds in Althorne.  Kathy was still not feeling grand, but was determined to get to the party!  At some point, Kathy told JH that JH could claim travelling expenses; JH said, yet again, that this was not how she did things, but that she would enquire about this matter.  JH confirmed that Ann would be meeting us all at the Good Samaritan Pub on 14th May about 3.00pm, after Kathy and JH had seen the IA.  JH subsequently opened Kathy’s email and replied to it – just mentioning that she had received Kathy’s email in duplicate (again) for some reason.

2007 - May 7th - Monday

JH rang the Lawn GH with regards to Ann’s stay in Maidenhead from Friday, 18th May until am Thursday, 24th May, and JH’s stay only until am on Wednesday 23rd May.
