JH was not ‘allowed’ to donate blood she must conserve her strength, or some such SPAM, for her potential donation!  {JH had last given blood on 26 August 2005.}
 

2005 - December 21st - Wednesday

JH received Kathy’s Christmas Card, and Invitations to Family Picnic on Sunday 30 July 2006, and the Third Hipsey Millennium Reunion at Althorne over WE of Friday 21 July 2006 to Sunday 23 July 2006.  In both these Invitations Kathy has told the addressees that JH is to donate a kidney!
 


2005 - December 22nd - Thursday

JH received a phone call from Kathy who mentioned several things: she asked where the copy of the Family Tree was to be found, JH said that she had collected it from Doreen Hipsey’s daughter’s house, opposite to the entrance of the Greenwich University Buildings – previously the Dreadnought Seamen’s Hospital; Kathy said that she had omitted to add Doreen Hipsey to the list of attendees at the Greenwich Family Picnic held on 31 July 2005; JH suggested that Kathy add Doreen’s name, and add a simple apology to the Invitation she sends to Doreen.  {JH was supposed to pick up the Family Tree from Kathy at the picnic but JH arrived – from Plymouth – an hour late because rail works caused diversions through Bristol; by the time of JH’s arrival, Kathy had given Doreen the safekeeping of the Family Tree – as had been previously arranged should JH not make it to the picnic.}  Kathy and JH exchanged info about their plans for Christmas; Ralph was still very sore following his fall from his step ladder.  Kathy planned to phoned JH on Christmas day.
